THE POJOBA 2000 (PJ2G) LEGACY PROJECT:

A Testament to Commitment and Progress

From a shared vision conceived during the inaugural Chairman’s Ball fundraising event, the Pojoba 2000 (PJ2G) Legacy Project has grown into a symbol of unity, purpose, and generational impact. What began as an ambitious idea to give back to our alma mater has now taken inspiring shape — brick by brick, and heart by heart.

Following the success of the first fundraising dinner, each subsequent Chairman’s Ball built upon that momentum — reigniting enthusiasm, drawing in greater participation, and securing vital contributions from both Pojoba members and generous non-Pojoba supporters. These gatherings did more than raise funds; they strengthened our bonds, reignited our shared pride, and reaffirmed our collective resolve to deliver a lasting legacy.

The project’s milestone moments have been steady and remarkable. It began with the sod-cutting ceremony, a symbolic moment marking the start of a dream realized. Construction then moved systematically from the foundation and basement stage through to the ground floor columns, decking, and top floor columns. With collective support, we advanced to install the roof gutters, parapet wall, and full roofing, securing the structure and setting the stage for internal works.
Technical installations have also made major strides — including air conditioning piping, electrical wiring, CCTV setup, and complete plumbing rough-ins. These systems will help ensure the building serves its purpose efficiently and sustainably.

As of January 2026, the project proudly stands at the plastering stage, bringing us ever closer to completion. Each stage has reflected not just construction progress, but the passion, faith, and sacrifices of our alumni community — a true demonstration of the PJ2G spirit.

We extend profound appreciation to all Pojoba and non-Pojoba donors whose unwavering generosity continues to fuel our progress. Every single contribution has counted. In recognition of this, everyone who has donated will be duly acknowledged by name, while major benefactors will have spaces within the complex named in their honour — a permanent tribute to their legacy of giving.

As we approach the project’s completion date of June 2026, we encourage continued support. Let us keep this vision alive by donating only through the official PJ2G channels as communicated in our verified updates — and not through any individual accounts.Together, we are building much more than a structure; we are building a legacy that will stand tall for generations of Pojoba to come
